Boarding and Breeding Facilities at Deer Creek Farms.

This page is currently under construction, and so is the boarding facility. Stay tuned for updates on the building of the facility. We may even put a scematic drawing of the facility up for you to anticipate what's coming. . . Of course we will post pictures of everything as the facility begins to take shape.

Coming Soon! The House at Deer Creek. Our home. It is situated on top of a hill in the main 80 acre pasture; the front overlooks a tank and the back overlooks Deer Creek. Behind the house on the other side of the creek will be the "creekside" facility. Up on the top of the hill at the far corner of the 80 acres sits a beautiful old Cemetery dating back to the 1800's. It is a wonderful bit of history and far enough away to not cause me any sleepless nights. Beyond the cemetery and a good way down the path is the "Back 40".

Coming this Winter: Warrior's new "Bachelor's Pad" and Mare Motels at Deer Creek. Warrior will be housed just behind or beside our house by a few hundred yards. He will have his own stall, tack room and pasture. We plan to have a "mare motel" at this site also. This is where our visiting mares will live while they spend time with Warrior. Foaling will also take place in a small facility by the house so we can monitor everything.

"The Back 40" at Deer Creek Farms! Board your horse at our facility set back in a secluded 40 acres. This area is set off the beaten path in a nice quiet corner of Deer Creek Farms, yet still easy to get to by way of Lewellen Cemetery road. A tack and storage room is available as well as a round pen. We are continuing to work on creating one or two riding arenas and a large shedrow with stalls for your horses. There is a small wooded area and a pond for the horses to play in. This is an excellent choice for those who want a nice quiet spot to relax with their horses. Lessons and trail riding available by appointment. Trailer parking can be arranged.

Coming October 2006: "Creekside" at Deer Creek Farms! Board your horse at our facility set off Deer Creek Road. This area is located just across the creek from the main house. It is slated to include one or two riding arenas, round pen, a fully enclosed 8 stall barn, and individual tack storage. There is also a small wooded area and a spring fed pond for the horses to play in. This is an excellent choice for those who want a little more activity. Lessons will be provided at this location on a regular basis. Trail riding is available by appointment, and trailer parking can be arranged at this location as well.
